Hi, I used to sing this Tescos one to my friends in the late 80's. I was born in '79, and was no older than 12 when I was singing it.
Funnily enough, I don't think Tescos actually sold clothes back then. The second line was:

"We're on our way to Mothercare,
Where (name) gets her underwear"

... ha ha ha, still makes me smile now.
