penis
Refers to someone with a crush on a much younger kid (about 4 or 5 years younger).
A large forehead. Peeble Smack or Peeble Slap was shouted at the victim during the act of slapping his oversized forehead, usually very hard and before they knew you were there. Harmless fun. The Peeble Smack was extensively, but not exclusively used on one particular boy "Mavis", but through the mid to late 80s and by the 90s, everyone was getting them (regardless of forehead size).
To run away, e.g. "Peg it. He's nails he is!"
Sexual intercourse From putting your pencil in the pencil sharpener (contrubutor says this term in common use by children of ages 8 - 10).
Insulting term - self explanatory.
Vagina, female "naughty bits".
Male homosexual prostitute.
To drop a penny into someone's drink means that they have to down it in one. If you penny someone who has already been pennyed then you also have to down your drink. If you miss with the penny you have to down your drink. Leads to bottles of wine being finished before the starter has been served.
The name used to describe a set length of time for a class e.g. "first period 9:00 to 9:45 Maths". Source of obvious punning amusement for pre-pubescent boys.
General expression of disgust uttered when male pupils encountered spilt bottle of Tizer, strawberry milkshake, red biro ink, red paint etc. From an obvious (if childish) connection with menstruation and the magically dangerous superstitions it has carried for males far back into the depths of social history.
To watch girls whilst fantasising about them. An example of this sort of behaviour is old men (i.e. over 30) who position themselves strategically (for example near shop counters or staircases) so they can look down girls blouses or up their skirts when they bend forwards or climb to look at goods on sale etc.
Used in general conversation as a simple insult circa. often used between '86-92 from an early age, despite the fact none of us knew what it actually meant until about 1991.
Degenerating situation, e.g. "It's all gone a bit Pete Tong.". From Pete Tong, a Radio 1 DJ in the UK who presented a house/ garage/dance - music show on Friday nights (a pre-club get-ready show, then), and this was the catchphrase used in the adverts for his show. I think he meant it as "it's all gone a bit wild", bit it's since been changed to mean "it's all gone wrong" (prob. along the lines of Cockney Slang,).
(1) Penis - archaic term from action of releasing water.
(2) a 'white' person used as "Is he black or a peter?"
Female Genitalia.
Toughly analogous to crap, rubbish etc. eg "Your BMX is Pezzy". The word derives form 'peasant', so someone who owned something 'pezzy'was naturally a PEZ.
Great. Matt Poitras tells us this was an acronym for "Pretty Hot And Tempting" and is slowly changing its meaning.
Comment on someone or something if it is cool or pretty.
(ed: this alternative has been received. Anyone like to comment or pass on more info?:)
The word was used by Russel Simmoms, (I think the god-father of rap would know if any one would) and he said it best when interviewed about his clothing (phat farm) line was asked what the definition of "phat" is he replied "the epitome of cool" I hope you can think of the rest, source: 24 hrs. with Russel Simmons.
(ed: who the hell is Russel Simmons? Also, 'phat' has been around in common use in black culture at least, since the early 1960's - some people think it's a contraction of 'emphatic' rather than a straightforward acronym. We could do with some input here!)
Drunk. Less offensive form of 'pissed'
Was an exclamation of surprise, but always, in a good sense.
